What a great tally! I'm interested in learning about the weather pattern that suggested today would be a good day for Eastern LIS "pelagics". What motivated you folks to go out on the Ferry today?

Subject: [CT Birds] New London Ferry - Common Murre
Several of us rode the 9:15 John Henry New London-to-Orient Point ferry
today on a windy day with 20mph westerly winds. Results follow:
1/5/13 New London-to-Orient Point Ferry - CT waters - 1 COMMON MURRE and 1
PEREGRINE FALCON. NY waters - 7 COMMON EIDER, 100 WHITE-WINGED SCOTER, 25
NORTHERN GANNET, 1 COMMON MURRE and 8 RAZORBILL. The Common Murre was
initially seen in NT waters and flew to CT waters. A link to pictures from
