[CT Birds] Hoary Redpolls- problems and pitfalls

With increased reports of Hoary Redpolls, I have thrown together some info 
(originally published in part in the CT warbler in January 2008) that may 
help observers understand some of the pitfalls posed by these birds and what 
features to document when making a description to be submitted for 
acceptance.

Also, the Greenland form, Hornemanni, is the rarer form of Hoary Redpoll, so 
any observers that do find a Hoary Redpoll should try to determine if it is 
this larger, whiter form, rather than the smaller and more regular exilipes.
