Keith,Whenever I have a post-storm invasion of blackbirds,I scatter cracked corn on the ground which draws the birdsaway from the feeders and is much less expensive thansunflower seeds - average $20 per 50#.Still waiting for a yard-first redpoll! Meredith SampsonOld Greenwich

Is anyone else having a Grackle issue at their feeders?? I am knee
deep in them and my three feeders are being swarmed with Grackles,
Starlings and a few Red-winged Blackbirds. I have already filled them
twice today and it looks like I have to do it again!!

Anyone else??
