From Steve Broker (Cheshire):
01/19/13 - Woodbridge, Konold's Pond/West Rock Ridge -- 1 Trumpeter Swan toward the northeast end of the pond, somewhat separated from 9 scattered Mute Swans. Konold's Pond is 90% ice-free today, but for a very thin layer of ice here and there.

My run-through of the ctbirds listserv for January shows the following for Trumpeter Swan:
01/06/13 - 2 Trumpeter Swans (Wayne Bartholomew) - first observation of this species at Konold's Pond for 2013. Previously seen here (MOB) in 2011 and 2012.
01/07/14 - 2 Trumpeter Swans continue at Konold's Pond (John Oshlick)
01/10/13 - no Trumpeter Swans seen from ridge top and shoreline; Konold's Pond is mostly iced over (Steve Broker)
01/11/13 - 1 Trumpeter Swan + 4 Mute Swans (Phil Asprelli)
01/11/13 - 1 Trumpeter Swan + 2 Mute Swans (Frank Gallo)
01/14/13 - 1 Trumpeter Swan, napping on the opposite side, seen from Warren Road (Mike Warner)
01/17/13 - possible Trumpeter Swan, Lake Gaillard, North Branford; "maybe one of the ones from Konold's Pond who has moved east a bit" (John Triana)
01/19/13 - 1 Trumpeter Swan + 9 Mute Swans (Steve Broker)

John Triana's observation at Lake Gaillard is extremely interesting, given the apparent absence of a pair of Trumpeter Swans at Konold's Pond following ca. January 7. Further observations of Trumpeter Swans at Konold's Pond and/or Lake Gaillard would be appreciated.
