Thanks for the help Buzz. That is what I expected, but I've been wrong more
than once, so I'd figure I'd check with the group first. It's nice to cross
another bird off my list.

I not sure if you heard from anyone else regarding the sparrows you
photographed at Sherwood Island. Nice pictures. The two birds in question
are American Tree Sparrows. You can identify this species by several
characteristics: brownish/reddish cap, wing bars, lack of streaking on
breast, bi-colored bill (two tone) and gray breast with a dark central spot.
