Hammonassett today (2/16) !11:00 am - 1:00 pm, along the Moraine Trail:
Near the start (the end closest to the stone jetty), 1 American Woodcock lurking in the brush. Also 2 juvenile White-crowned Sparrows. At the far end of the trail, as far out as we could go at low tide, all in one group were a Black-bellied Plover, Red Knot and Ruddy Turnstone.
Did see several Surf Scoters, and a whole lot of Sanderlings on the beach near the jetty, couldn't find any Purple Sandpipers, though.
