More likely , when one drives by Wright's Pond, one would see mallards and
Canada Geese, maybe some killdeer, being that the pond is generally shallow.
But with the snow melt and rain, it has gotten deeper recently.
So this afternoon, there were 5 Ring necked ducks (4M, 1 F) and 2 Female
hooded Mergansers. Nothing that unusual, except that it is a bit out of
the ordinary for Wright's Pond.
Also seen were the 2 mallards, 14 Canada Geese, several Ring billed gulls
and pigeons.
