[CT Birds] Black-headed Gull, N. Shoveler

4/6/13-Stamford, Holly Pond --6:30am; 1 BLACK-HEADED GULL, 1 NORTHERN SHOVELER.  The Black-headed gull is in breeding plumage and seems to prefer being with the Ring-billed gulls.  It is directly in front of the parking area at Gus Edson Park which is adjacent to the mudflats at the northern end of the pond.  The shoveler is next to the mudflats.

They've gotta be somewhere.
