[CT Birds] 4/14 - Fairfield Highlights

I spent a really enjoyable day birding a couple of spots in Northern
Fairfield yesterday, with the following highlights:

4/14 - Fairfield, Hoydens Hill Open Space -- 4 Pileated Woodpecker, 1 Tree
Swallow, 1 Barn Swallow, 3 Ruby-crowned Kinglet, 2 Eastern Bluebird, 2
Hermit Thrush, 4 Eastern Towhee, 2 Chipping Sparrow and 2 Field Sparrow.
Fairfield, Grace Richardson Conservation Area -- 1 Pileated Woodpecker, 2
Northern Rough-winged Swallow, 1 Tree Swallow, 1 Golden-crowned Kinglet, 4
Ruby-crowned Kinglet, 1 Eastern Bluebird, 3 Hermit Thrush, 1 Yellow-rumped
Warbler and 2 Eastern Towhee.
Fairfield, Hemlock Reservoir -- 5 Common Merganser, 1 Pine Warbler
Fairfield, Fairfield Yard -- 1 Eastern Towhee, 7 Chipping Sparrows.
Fairfield, Larsen Sanctuary -- 3 Wood Duck, 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, 7
Golden-crowned Kinglet, 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet, 1 Eastern Bluebird, 9
Hermit Thrush, 1 Louisiana Waterthrush, 6 Palm Warbler, 2 Pine Warbler and
1 Swamp Sparrow.
