[CT Birds] More Talcott Mountain

4/15 - Avon - Talcott Mountain Science Center - Finished up four hours on
the mountain with a total of 8 diurnal raptor migrants:  4 Broadwinged
Hawks, 3 Osprey, and one juvenile Bald Eagle.  Also seen were local
Red-tailed Hawks (at least 4), one Red-shouldered Hawk, nine Turkey
Vultures, TWO BLACK VULTURES, one American Kestrel, ONE WINTER WREN, ONE
RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, and many other common resident small birds.Tomorrow
may yield more with a gusty south wind before the cold front comes through.
