4/24  Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center   10am-1PM, high tide,
sunny, 57-65F.
At 10AM the female osprey was on the nest with 3 eggs.  At 11:30 the male
returned with a fish, which the female took and went to the perch to eat it.
11:45 female osprey returns to nest, male goes to perch and then leaves.
from 11:55 til 12:15 a third osprey was in the area. First it sat on the
camera and the female was squawking!  It flew off, only to return, hovering
above the nest for at least a minute, then tried to land on the nest, as
the female was squawking.  But she would not leave the nest.  Male osprey
not around.
2 Ring billed gulls were on the osprey perch.
Other birds seen on the marsh and on grounds/feeders:
8 Yellowlegs (Definitely some greater, possibly one lesser), 1000+ Brant
throughout the marsh,
4 REd breasted mergansers, 11 Mute swans, Canada geese,  8 D.C. Cormorants,
Tree swallows, Great egrets, snowy egrets, 2 mallards.
Song sparrows, White throated sparrows, house sparrows around and in Purple
Martin gourds, Common grackles, Red winged blackbirds, House finches,
mourning doves, pair of cardinals, 3 Goldfinches (2M,1F), 1 Rock dove,
American crows, American Robins.
