[CT Birds] Stratford LITTLE BLUE HERON, etc.

5/11  Stratford, various sites (primarily near the coast) this morning and early 
afternoon - 85 species.  Highlights:
- Short Beach Park - adult LITTLE BLUE HERON with egrets in tidal lagoon beyond 
tennis courts, 1 BOAT-TAILED GRACKLE along beach (never before seen here by me).
- Oak Bluff Ave. - 9 species warblers (including a late Palm), 10 Ruby-crowned 
Kinglets, Eastern Wood-Pewee, unid. Empidonax flycatcher, Wood Thrush.
- McKinney NWR (Long Beach Blvd) - 2 Yellow-billed Cuckoos, pair Scarlet 
Tanagers, Orchard & Baltimore Orioles, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, 15 White-throated 
Sparrows,  6 Boat-tailed Grackles.
Stratford Greenway (Beacon Point Rd) - Least Flycatcher, male Bobolink.
