Plenty of birds out there this morning!
Here are my highlights!
5/11/13- Westport- Compo Beach-Common Loons calling, 3 American Oystercatchers,1 Black-bellied Plover,50 plus Common Terns on Cockenoe Island and some feeding at the mouth of the Saugatuck River, 2 Least Terns
Longshore Park- (multiples of birds unless noted)Great Crested Flycatcher,1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet,1 Swainson's Thrush, Wood Thrush,7 Cedar Waxwings( haven't seen or heard these in quite a while),Ovenbird,Northern Parula,Yellow Warbler,1 Black-throated Green Warbler, eastern Towhee,small tight flock of White-throated Sparrows feeding high up in a tree on vines(unusual),Scarlet Tanager
