>From Jamie Meyers:
6/4 -- Columbia, Town Park on Hennequin Drive -- BLUE GROSBEAK. This is a town park with numerous baseball fields and a powerline cut that runs along the north side. It's on Hennequin Road about 1/2 or so north of CT 66. Drive into the park and go to the end of the driveway. On the right there is a parking area near the entrance to a nature trail adjacent to the powerline cut. The bird was singing in this area on both sides of the parking lot. Down the nature trail about a quarter mile or so where it crosses the powerline cut there was a singing MOURNING WARBLER that was quite furtive in the chilly morning breeze. All of this goodness occurred around 7:30 AM.
Never did find the Great-crested Flycatcher I was there looking for!
