6/5  Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center,  10:45-12:45.  high tide
receding, 70F, sunny
The osprey parents are tending to one chick.  Two other eggs remain in the
nest, but are not viable.
At 11:55, the male brought in a fish.  Female promptly took the fish and
began feeding the chick, as the male was preening.
17 Great Egrets on marsh, 1 Snowy Egret, 1 Adult Yellow crowned night
heron, 1 Least tern fly by with fish in bill, 9 Mute swans;
On grounds:  Cardinals, Common Grackles, Purple Martins, mourning doves,
Tree swallows, robins, Gold finches, House finches, House sparrows, song
