Birders et al,

Thank you Nick , Julian and Mark for passing these important issues about wind Turbines along.
I have tweeted them out.

Wind Turbines are just another potential major problem on the coast and other areas in CT as a whole.
Wrong location and placement (migration corridors) would be catastrophic for the entire bird population!
So keep your ears and eyes out on this sneaky problem. Many areas around the US & world as you see,
have this on going problem as many know. American Bird Conservancy & Kim Kaufman of BSBO out in NW Ohio,
along with and many others have been battling wind turbine issues for sometime.

This could happen in Connecticut as we speak and we don't even know it, till its too late! That is the way these
companies operate with with serious grey areas that have no rules or laws that prevent them from setting up shop.
Deals are done privately, without full disclosure from the companies to the homeowners without public knowledge,
Nothing today as you drive by., In a flash Wind Turbines are there tomorrow!

The issues are the location and placement that is a very troubling and a real problem for birds. Laws need to be created
with strict guidelines with these wind companies to protect and prevent these factual disasters,Take a look at two more
articles to really understand the scope of this problem.
