[CT Birds] Hammonasset Morning Highlights

No rarities but some fun birds this morning partly with Paul Desjardins and some others:
Large flock of 21 WILLET flying together, 1 GREATER SCAUP out of season continues resting at the exposed rocky flat at the end of Meig's Pt and very close up in the water, along with 4 RED-BREASTED MERGS incl 1 ad Male & 3 Females,  2 AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHER, and 1 BRANT, several SALTMARSH SPARROW, 1 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER at the boulder pond, 1 LITTLE BLUE HERON & 1 LITTLE BLUE X TRICOLORED HERON HYBRID both at Meig's Pt marsh and boulder pond, 2 nesting BOAT-TAILED GRACKLE at Willard's Is Pavilion area.
