[CT Birds] Raven - Washington, CT

... unless an American Crow is imitating one.  I had one in the neighborhood fool me several times a few years back.  It wasn't classic raven, but close enough to some of the variety that they do.  I'm still waiting for my first yard raven.  I have had two fairly close in the past year.

As I type this I am hearing my local common raven by the house on South St in Washington, CT. I have not heard a raven around the house in awhile, so nice to hear one. I think a raven's
 call is one of easiest calls to learn. After one first hears a raven there is on mistaking it for anything else.
