A volunteer from the Peabody Museum has a leucistic House Sparrow visiting
her feeder in West Haven. She was wondering if there is a way to identify
the sex of the bird (beyond my skill level). Feathers are completely
lacking pigment and the bill is a light shade of beige (slightly lighter
than typical non-breeding coloring). Her only picture is available on
facebook for those of you who have a facebook account and can be viewed
here.

Thanks for any info.
