Also, we will be helping TNC remove the fencing and signage at Griswold Point on Friday, August 30th. The parking there is quite limited, so please email ctwaterbirds at gmail.com if you can help so we can get you the details. This is a great opportunity to see place where access is normally a bit difficult.

The fencing that was deployed at Long Beach, Sandy Point and Bluff Point State Park needs to be removed in the next few weeks and work parties are set to accomplish this. We need as many hands as possible, as it is a big task to get everything back to the parking lots and loaded back into the trucks. Hopefully some of you can join us on the following dates:

Thursday, August 15th at 10:00AM - Long Beach in Stratford

Tuesday, August 20th at 10:00AM - Sandy/Morse Points in West Haven

Thursday, August 29th at 10:00AM - Bluff Point in Groton

Though it is hard work, there are some easy tasks as long as you can walk the distances needed and it is a great opportunity to get out and see the birds up close in the course of the duties!

Please email ctwaterbirds at gmail.com<mailto:ctwaterbirds at gmail.com> if you can help out. Thank you!
