[CT Birds] Birds at shore 8/12

8/12 - Lots of shorebirds, herons, and some terns around Milford and Stratford:
- Stratford, Short Beach- 2 adult Roseate Terns among about 50 Commons on offshore breakwater (scope needed).
- Stratford Marina (Broad St.) - 112 Greater Yellowlegs, 7 Lesser Yellowlegs, 70 Short-billed Dowitchers at high tide.
- Milford Point- 10+ species shorebirds including 2 Red Knots (juveniles), 98 Black-bellied Plovers, 192 Semipalmated Plovers, 3700 Semipalmated Sandpipers; juvenile Forster's Tern, 7 juvenile Yellow-crowned Night-Herons including 2 perched atop Purple Martin houses.
