[CT Birds] Photos of southern subspecies of Red-shouldered Hawk

After seeing a photo of a southern Florida Red-shouldered Hawk taken by a
former Boothe Memorial Park Hawkwatch stalwart who now resides within the
range of southern Florida Red-shouldered Hawks, I believe that the bird in
Shelton was a southern Florida bird of the race "extimus."

Below is a link to some photos of the bird on Flickr. Note how pale the
bird is overall, how light the head is and how very small it is. Size can
be hard to gauge in a photo, but this bird was very small and very pale.
