9/2 New Milford yard - at 9:40 this morning, within 4 minutes as a rain
storm started, the small lilac bush outside my computer window 4-5 feet from
my head, hosted the following, several at the same time - have never seen
anything like it - and I am not inventing this!!!
- Chestnut-sided warbler
- black-throated green warbler
- common yellowthroat (immature)
- 2 cardinals
- red-eyed vireo
- 2 titmice
- 2 chickadees
- Carolina wren
- house wren
- female redstart
- female hummingbird (at feeder)
- male common yellowthroat
and in the next 5 minutes:
- 3rd yellowthroat (adult female)
- 2nd redstart (immature)
- 2nd Carolina wren
- immature male hummingbird
