from Glenn Williams and John Oshlick:
9/6 - Groton, Bluff Point -- male HOODED WARBLER, rare for the "hot corner"
I had to leave for work at 7:15am, but John aand others will add any other good ones. A slow start to the morning flight and not a lot of volume, but good diversity as one would expect this time of year - lots of American Redstarts plus Black-throated Blue Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Northern Parula, Scarlet Tanagers, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, gnatcatchers, pewees, Great-crested Flycatchers, etc. A few in-flight warblers were intriguing, but had to be left un-IDed. Good views are harder to be had with the trees coming down at the hot corner and the increase in the trees and vegetation along the tracks.
