Question: 7 Young Cedar Waxwings 09/09/13 in Bristol, flying over the pond at the Orchard Hill development diving for flying insects??? I thought Cedar Waxwings were seed and berry eaters? All characteristics of young waxwings were evident even flight pattern EXCEPT I was surprised to see them diving through the air snatching insects.... Is this typical?
