The Friday afternoon falcon show - aka urban (raptor) violence - was outstanding:  Noisy Merlin vs 3 cowering Crows, Coopers vs. Kestrel, Merlin vs. Kestrel.

From Dana Campbell, Don Morgan, Sol Satin, Judy Moore, and Steve Mayo:
9/13/13 - New Haven - Lighthouse Point Park Hawkwatch
110 migrating raptors including 2 Adult Bald Eagles, 9 Broad-winged Hawks,
11 American Kestrels, 12 Merlins, and others.
Also observed:  15 Barn Swallows, 500 Tree Swallows, 260 BOBOLINKS, 3 BANK
SWALLOWS, 3 Hummingbirds, 2 Laughing Gulls, and 1 Common Loon.
The weather was nothing like what had been forecast, but it still looks
pretty good for tomorrow.
