Several hawkwatchers saw an American Bittern fly over the hawkwatch lawn here at Audubon Greenwich around 4 pm. It likely dropped down at Mead Lake.

Hawkwise it was a pretty busy day with a steady movement of Sharp Shins plus 125 Broad Wings, 11 Bald Eagles, 5 Harriers and 2 Peregrines amongst others for a total of 354 birds.

Passerinewise about 10 sp of warblers were around in the morning including a PRAIRIE on the Teenage Forest Boardwalk
