Barbara, my mother had a hummer at her flowers/feeder in Enfield on Saturday morning. So, there is still a chance.

Subject: [CT Birds] Common Raven and Hummer question

Common Raven heard/seen over both days of the weekend (but not today) in my backyard forest/wetlands here in north Stamford. Watched as it made an unsuccessful attempt to pick off a songbird; nearby crows were creating a raucous/fracas as it was very evident they didn't appreciate having the raven around.

Separately, has anyone been getting hummers still at their feeders? Have kept mine up with the great hope of still having some migrants stop by. Am wondering if it's now become a pipe-dream.
