[CT Birds] Glastonbury - Big Sit

 Andrew Dasinger, Denise Jernigan and I participated in the Big Sit this
weekend in Glastonbury Meadows, noting 67 species.  Highlights follow -

Glastonbury, Glastonbury Meadows, 10/12/13 - 2 AMERICAN WOODCOCK, COMMON
RAVEN, 2 NORTHERN ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOWS (late), 3 SWAINSON'S THRUSHES
(heard pre-dawn), 15 AMERICAN PIPIT, VESPER SPARROW, 3 WHITE-CROWNED
SPARROW and 3 BOBOLINK.

I birded a different section of the Meadows on Sunday noting the following
- Glastonbury, Glastonbury Meadows, 10/13/13 - SORA, 2 WILSON'S SNIPE, 4
MARSH WREN, CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, 3 LINCOLN'S SPARROW and 2 DICKCISSEL
(male and 1st winter).  Pictures of the Clay-colored Sparrow and
