[CT Birds] Lighthouse Point Park - 5 Golden Eagles

286 hawks today!  A whopping 14 species, including late Broad-wing and Osprey and a juvenile Northern Goshawk with virtually no tail (molting retrices).  But the highlight was a record 5 Golden Eagles, 1 during the 11-12 hour and 4 during 12-1 pm.  

The morning especially brought clouds of blackbirds and other migrants:  Com Loon 2, DC Cormorant 24, Brant 30, Can Goose 207, Gr Yellowlegs 1, Killdeer 1, numerous Gulls, E Phoebe 2, 23 Am Crow, Com Raven 1, Bl Jay 14, No RW Swallow 1, Barn Swallow 1, Tree Swallow 31, BG Gnatcher (woods near feeders) 1, GC Kinglet 1, Kinglet sp 4, Ea Blubird 79, Am Robin 1450+, Thrush sp 5, Am Pipit 18, Ced Waxwing 388, YR Warbler 14, Palm Warbler 1, Warbler sp 20, Sav sparrow 3, N Junco 38, Ea Meadowlark 3, BH Cowbird 1700+, RW Blackbird 2770, Com Grackle 31,600+, Pur Finch 29, Ho Finch 14+, Am Goldfinch 16

Also, 1 Monarch Butterfly, 1 Sulfur.
