[CT Birds] LHP 11-4-13 2 RL

In only the past 2 days, we've apparently ticked every conceivable diurnal raptor (except of course for Swainson's Hawk and Short-eared Owl).   A nice start for November.

11/4 New Haven, Lighthouse Point hawk watch - 234 diurnal raptors including 2 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS (one light, one dark); 4 BALD EAGLES (all imm); Turkey Vultures led way with 136, plus 5 BLACK VULTURES.

Other migrants of note: One flyover PECTORAL SANDPIPER; 2 COMMON RAVENS; 30 AMERICAN PIPITS; 10 SNOW BUNTINGS; 70,000 Common Grackles; 7,000 Red-winged Blackbirds
