[CT Birds] Fairfield: Black-chinned Hummingbird

Hello all,
An urgent request. In respect to the homeowners that are hosting the hummingbird, please REFRAIN from posting their name or location to any internet or public site such as eBird.  They have been very accommodating up to now with letting small numbers of visiting birders to see the hummer, but they don't want to see a mob scene nor irritate the neighbors.

Many thanks,
Frank Mantlik

11/5/13  Fairfield  -   Black-chinned Hummingbird

There is a short story and photograph by Chris Bosak in today's Norwalk Hour of a Black-chinned Hummingbird on private property in Fairfield.

Also, Kateri Kosek's letter to the list on 11/4/2013 at 2:44 pm contained an excellent article from the Poughkeepsie Journal which explains why Hummingbirds are being seen in November these days.
