Passing these along.
From Judy Richardson:
At lease 8 Am Wigeons among the Buffleheads 8, and Hooded Mergs along the Hemlock Resevoir.
Back home, 2 Yellow bellied Sapsuckers, a Phoebe, and a Sharpie on Bibbins Rd in Easton. Late Phoebe, but such nice weather.
I expect Kathy VDA reported that the last bird of the year, caught while
taking the nets down at Birdcraft was a lovely, AH Female Sharpie who
decapitated an English sparrow who was caught.
From Joe Woolston:
11/7/13. Old Quarry Road, Guilford. Large (~12-15) bluebirds- both male &
female- gorging on fruit of red cedar trees. They hung around for 30-40
minutes before moving on.
Beacon Falls, CT
