COA is pleased to announce that the complete run of its journal The
Connecticut Warbler has been indexed and digitized, and is freely
available to all from its web site, http://www.ctbirding.org/pubs.htm

Please take a moment to appreciate the depth and richness of this
resource, which dates back to Volume 1 in 1981, and includes fascinating
and important articles detailing the history and evolution of the COA
and birding in our state. There are statistics and analyses of the early
Christmas Bird Counts, articles and editorials by notables such as Fred
Sibley, Roland Clement, and Roger Tory Peterson himself (Vol. 4 No. 1),
and accounts of first state sightings of species such as Sabine’s Gull,
Painted Bunting, and Bridled Tern.

Happy New Year from COA!

(web manager)
