I took advantage of the snow day this afternoon to watch my yard birds.
Nothing new, but good birds, including a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (here
year-round), a beautiful male Bluebird, a single Pine Siskin (my first this
winter) and the "usual suspects" of juncos, Carolina Wren, Red-bellied
Woodpecker, Downy (male & female), White-throated Sparrows, Titmice
(Titmouses??), Cardinals, and lots of Mourning Dove and American Goldfinch.
