[CT Birds] Gulls and Crossbills.

As for Gulls, Windsor Landfill, or Shepaug Dam, Circle Beach in Madison, Hammonasset, Long Beach or Stratford Point in March, sometimes Oyster River in Milford/West Haven then too.   Thames River, Milford Point, sometimes Wethersfield Cove at dusk. 

This isn't really the year for crossbills, but you never really know with them.

The Barkhamsted Reservoir area along the MA border is full of pines, hemlocks, and spruce. It could be worth a drive around the reservoir and areas along the border looking for evergreens with cones.
