If, you are walking along peacefully in that area, and suddenly you here "KEH KACK KACK KACK KACK KACK, " 8 inches away from the lower nape of your neck, and you feel that adrenalin tingle and the early onset of a heart attack, then it is probably a Northern Goshawk.

Subject: [CT Birds] Goshawk Canton/Burlington?

I've been playing hide and seek with a bird which might be a goshawk along
the Burlington/Canton line.  I have seen them there in the past, even found
a nest there once, but this bird is too clever at putting trees between me
and proof.

I'd love confirmation from those who know the area.
