Dear CT Birding Community,

Audubon CT is currently seeking proposals from non‐profit organizations, consultants, or qualified individuals to conduct forest breeding bird habitat assessments and assemble reports for landowners, and assist in developing content for two Forest Stewardship workshops.

The organization/consultant/individual would work with a Certified Forester from the CT Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) and Audubon CT staff to complete forest bird habitat assessments for 40 landowners from mid‐April through mid‐Oct. 2014. The organization/consultant/individual would also be responsible for compiling current forest bird habitat data collected during the assessments and recommendations on how to manage forests with bird in mind into assessment reports for the landowners.

For more information, on this rfp, visit: http://ct.audubon.org/sites/default/files/documents/request_for_proposals_-_forest_bird_initiative_final.pdf. More information on what Habitat Assessments entail is available at: http://ct.audubon.org/forest-birds.

Proposals should be e‐mailed to Corrie Folsom‐O’Keefe (cfolsom‐okeefe at audubon.org) by MARCH 28TH, 2014. An applicant will be selected by April 4th, 2014. For more information or if you have questions, contact Corrie at the above e‐mail address or by phone at 203‐264‐5098 ext. 310.

Thank you,

Corrie Folsom-O'Keefe
