[CT Birds] Surface Feeding, Merwin Point, Milford

>From Steve Spector, 1:30-2:30 Pm, 24 March 14, Merwin Point, Milford, a few thousand birds, mainly gulls, geese, and ducks, surface feeding very close to shore--from Merwin Point to Oyster River.  At least 200 Bonaparte's, 700 Ring-billed, lesser numbers of Herring, a few Great Black-backed.  Could to find any Little or Black-headed.  Also 400 Brant, 400 Scaup.  A few A Wigeon, 1 Green-winged Teal.  1 Great Cormorant on usual rocks.  A group of 15 Red-throated Loons, 2 Common Loons, 2 Horned Grebes.
