[CT Birds] Stratford Highlights: LITTLE GULL, etc.

3/31 Stratford,
- Russian Beach 6:05pm -  LITTLE GULL (apparent adult in winter plumage) first found by Stefan Martin was still in water offshore with large number of plankton-feeding gulls. Thanks Stefan! Also present were 2 male EURASIAN WIGEONS.
- Broad St. creek near Ferry Blvd. - 2 RED-NECKED GREBES, 1 Pied-billed Grebe.
- Long Beach - 3 Northern Gannets, Iceland Gull (continuing 2nd-cycle), 1 Greater Yellowlegs.
- Short Beach - ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK (light morph) hunting old landfill, later seen flying NE over Housatonic River to Milford Point.
