Friday, May 2.  2:00-3:00 NCLT property on Durkee Road in Somers (area was severely flooded)

1 VIRGINIA RAIL  - flushed from 2 feet in front of me, and flew 20 feet up the foot path, disappearing back into the flooded field.
2 Baltimore Orioles.
1 Palm Warbler
25 YRW
4 Yellow Warbler
3 Swamp Sparrow
5 Song Sparrow
1 RT Hawk
30+ robins
10 common Grackle
20+ RW BB
5 Tree Swallow
3 Barn Swallow
1 beautiful Spotted Turtle saved from the middle of the road!!

Saturday, May 3,  9:00-9:45 - Scantic River Linear Trail - Enfield

2 Rose-Breasted Grosbeak (singing Males)
1 SS Hawk
1 Black-Throated Blue Warbler
