Two Blackburnian Warblers singing near the office today. The Worm-eating Warblers and Hooded Warblers have been cooperative in the orchard near the office in the last few days and the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and Indigo Buntings are fighting for spots at the feeders. The next week or so would be a great time to pay a visit. The oaks are starting to bloom near the office, as are the crab apples in the old orchard. Always a great time to visit if the migration weather is at all decent when the oaks and crabs are in bloom.

Also had a Scarlet Tanager in my yard this AM and a Great Crested Flycatcher. FOY Veery at the Southbury Training School, where the Bobolinks seem to be in more than typical abundance this year. Also Bobolinks singing from nearby Mitchell Farm this morning.
