5/9/14 - Bethany, Veterans Memorial Park -- 12:00 PM; 2 CLIFF SWALLOWS feeding over the lake along with 5 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS feeding along the lake edge and soccer field.

5/9/14 -- East Rock Park, Hamden -- addendum to prior reports: yellow-throated vireo on Trowbridge Drive. It also may be worth noting that there were numerous white-throated sparrows and yellow-rumped warblers in the park today; and two ruby-crowned kinglets.

5/9 - Gaylordsville/Mud Pond Road - Least Flycatcher (early?), worm-eating warbler, d-c cormorant.

05/09/14 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- At least one male and one female Orchard Oriole on either side of the street by the Kellog center.
