Yesterday 13 May at the swamp along  dirt road off Poverty Hollow in Easton at about 2 pm. With him were:Swainson's thrush, Wood thrush, Veery, Scarlet Tanagers, Lousiana Waterthrush, Redstarts , Black throated Green warblers, black and White,  alto ore Orioles making a nest, Blue gray Gnatcatcher.

This walk was after seeing  5 Savannah Sparrows at the Christmas tree farm in Southport, and  seeing 3 Spotted Sandpipers at the fountain at the Aspetuck  reservoir in Easton banding 62 birds, mostly warblers  at Birdcraft with friend and guest, Chris Rimmer from VT EcoStudies.

Today, Kathy will probably report that we banded a stunning Indigo Bunting! At Birdcraft.
