Passing these along.
From Bob Cartoceti
Oxford, Christian Rd. at corner of Hawley Road: at least three pair of BOBOLINK mixed in with REDWINGS at western end of large field.
From Mark Scott:
\5/12/14 -- East Rock Park, Hamden -- with reports from many observers -- yellow-billed cuckoo (river path), black-billed cuckoo (Trowbridge Drive), Eastern wood-pewee, yellow-throated vireo, indigo buntings (old archery field and Giant Steps), 20 warbler species including Tennessee, Wilson's (several), Canada (at least 3), blackpoll, prairie and Blackburnian
5/12/14 -- Back yard, New Haven -- least flycatcher
From John Himmelman:
05/12/14 - Killingworth yard — Common Nighthawk
From Glenn Williams:
5/12/14 - New London, Cedar Grove Cemetery -- 2 SWAINSON'S THRUSH
From Roy Harvey:
05/12/14 - Derby, Osbornedale State Park -- 7:35 to 10:10; after having two male Bobolinks in the field next to the Kellog Center parking around 7:45 AM, could not relocate them later. 10 warbler species, including my FOY Canada Warbler, quite a few Magnolia Warblers, and a couple of Blackpoll Warblers. Most of these were on the so-called Kestrel trail, farther in than most people venture, farther than I usually do except at this season. But the flowering trees along the walk between the gate and Kellog also had Magnolias. Never even made it across the street.
