[CT Birds] 5/14 - Fairfield Odds and Ends

I spent a few hours this afternoon hitting a couple of locations in the
southern part of Fairfield, in preparation for the upcoming Fairfield Big

5/14 - Fairfield, Oak Lawn Cemetery -- 1 WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW, 1 Least
Flycatcher, 4 Blackpoll Warbler, 1 Canada Warbler, 1 Orchard Oriole.
Fairfield, Bulkley Pond -- 1 SOLITARY SANDPIPER, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs.
Fairfield, Harbor Road Bridge -- 8 PURPLE MARTIN (perched on and flying
around nest sites atop the bridge house, and on gourds on a nearby dock), 1
3rd year BALD EAGLE (flew across the harbor and out of sight, pursued by
grackles), 1 Spotted Sandpiper, 4 Least Sandpiper.
Fairfield, Sasco Beach -- 2 Horned Grebe, 4 Common Tern.
Fairfield, Jennings Beach -- 1 BROWN THRASHER, FOY Willow Flycatcher.
