[CT Birds] Mourning warbler, Edgewood Park, New Haven

>From Mark Scott: 5/21/14 -- Edgewood Park, New Haven -- mourning warbler. Find the intersection of Whalley Avenue and Fitch Street; look for a red gate on the south (park) side of Whalley; the gate was was open this morning (it isn't always). Enter the park there. Immediately on the right there is a footbridge with iron railings which spans a small stream. The bird was seen and heard in the Japanese knotweed on both sides of the footbridge as late as 6:30 a. m. It was singing persistently. There are parking spaces beyond this point.
