Audubon Connecticut, the CT Agricultural Experiment Station, the Yale School of Forestry, the Natural Resource Conservation Service and Ferrucci & Walicki, LLC, are offering a Woodlands Birds Workshop Saturday, June 7th from 9 am - 1 pm at the Yale School of Forestry Camp in Eastford, CT. The Workshop is geared toward landowners and will begin with presentations on the birds in your woods. Then we will head outdoors to learn how forests can be managed to increase the diversity of habitats available to birds and other wildlife. There will also be an opportunity to sign-up for a free Forest Breeding Bird Habitat Assessment of your property (http://ct.audubon.org/forest-birds).

The first half of the workshop will take place at Yale-Myers Forest Camp, 150 Center Pike, Eastford CT. The second half of the workshop will be outdoors and will include a visit the Yale-Myers Forest. To register, contact Corrie Folsom-O'Keefe (cfolsom-okeefe at audubon.org or 203-264-5098 ext. 310). Funding for this project is provided by the U.S. Forest Service.
