[CT Birds] Pesticide study

Here is the link to the actual study, which came out in Nature a few weeks ago. 


The paper itself is behind a paywall, but the abstract covers the main points. As Patrick indicates the study does not show that the pesticide actually kills birds. But it does show that declines of various insectivores in the Netherlands are steepest in areas where the pesticide is most abundant. An indirect effect via the food supply is one possible explanation.
