Kudos to Charlie for sharp birding (as always) and quick thinking to save these birds' habitat giving them chance to nest. Also to the farmer, the board of COA and all involved. Here are some shots of the bird(s) and the habitat, so you can know the habitats in which you should keep an eye (and ear) out for Sedge Wrens in future years. They are notoriously late nesters and spring arrivals and rarely nest in the same place twice. Brush up on their distinctive song and maybe you can help to save a pair's chances of nesting next season!
